Ballroom and Social Dancing Lessons

Worldview Classes has been sponsoring Historical Balls since 2005.  Our Balls have been so successful primarily because everyone that attends has been taught how to do all the dances. We have also sponsored back-to-school, end-of-school, and summer dances as well. All of these events have dance lessons built into them so the students will have the confidence and skills necessary to enjoy these social events.

This is open to Middle and High School age students.

Worldview Classes is offering a Ballroom and Social dance program in the Flower Mound and McKinney/Allen areas. This is an open class. You do not have to be enrolled in Worldview Classes to attend.  There is no need to sign up; just show up. We will cover the basic ballroom dances like Waltz, Foxtrot, East Coast, and West Coast Swing.  Some Basic Latin dances like the Cha Cha, American Tango, and Rumba will be covered as well. English Country, Folk, and Period Dances are also included. We will also try to make room for a little Texas Two-Step. There is no registration, simply pay at the door. These are progressive lessons so they do build on each other. If you decide late in the year to join, you will have missed many of the basic steps. Watch the video above to see a sample of some of the dances we will learn.
