For the Ante-Bellum Ball, each student researched and recreated a character from the time period; complete with a work up of political and social views on a number of pre selected issues. The time period was right after Secession and before Fort Sumter; thus allowing for Blue and Gray to mix socially without the physical hostilities of war.
